EDINBURGH band Lost In Audio have long been on our radar, not least because of their audacious blagging antics, which have included getting backstage at T In The Park and picking up a headline slot in front of 10,000 people at an Icelandic music festival.

The band have never made any secret of their desire to be a commercial outfit and with Burning Up, the title track of their forthcoming EP – and our track of the month –they have nailed a sound that deserves to get them on daytime radio. Their self-promoted gig at the capital’s Liquid Room on 4 November is set to be the hottest ticket for a local act this month and there is talk of interest from some high-level music managers.
